Mr. Muharem Sabić, Minister of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton, and Mr. Elvir Resic, Acting Director of the Public Company "Sarajevo Canton Television": introduce more program on economy

Muharem Šabić, Minister of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton visited  Public Company "The Sarajevo Canton Television" and talked with the newly appointed Acting Director Mr. Elvir Resić about the need to broadcast more positive trends in economy.

"A few days ago analysts of the Foreign Direct Investment, the Financial Times Department for investment analysis, listed the microcities of the future, based on 20 criteria. These are microcities which are best for investment in 2016 i 2017, as recommended by their investment experts.  On that list, Sarajevo takes the 6th place, but unfortunately this is not adequately known,“ said Minister Sabić and underlined that positive business environment must be created.

The Sarajevo Canton is daily improving business environment for the existing investors and for those who plan to invest in the Sarajevo Canton.

During the meeting, Minister Sabić informed the Acting Director about the joint project- "Education of business starters" of the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency (SERDA), Networks and Employment Services of the Sarajevo Canton.

"The project has an aim to promote entrepreneurial spirit and to improve the skills of young and unemployed people in order to generate new business ideas, support the development of new businesses and create jobs," said Minister Sabić, adding that the general public need to be informed about this in detail.

Mr. Resić agreed with the Minister that it is necessary to include a larger number of thematic programs in the program schedule.  In that way we promote domestic production and manufacturers.

"I came to this position two weeks ago.  Together with my colleagues, I have decided to  reorganize the morning program. Every Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:30 in the morning, we will have a section devoted to education, and on Thursdays at the same time we will have the program about economy", explained Mr. Resić.
