Minister Šabić and the students of the Faculty of Architecture: Support for Start-up Business

The Minister of Economy of the Canton Sarajevo Muharem Šabić met with the students of the Faculty of Architecture in Sarajevo, Adnan Vehabović, Armin Kešo and Olmo Vlahovljak and presented the ways of start-up enterprises support provided by the Ministry. Minister also answered the question of what is needed to start a business in the Sarajevo Canton.

During the last week, the Ministry announced a Public Call for the selection of of potential users of the grant fund “Small business development incentive for 2017”. The announcement of the public call has been published in the “Official Gazette of the Sarajevo Canton, 22/17 and in the newspaper “Oslobođenje” on 08.06.2017. The Minister informed the students about the fact that the full text of the public call can be found on the official web page of the Ministry. He added that the deadline for the the submission of applications is 30 days from the day the announcement was published in “Oslobođenje” and the “Official Gazette of the Sarajevo Canton.

“Applications can be submitted by 08.07.2017 directly at the Sarajevo Canton Protocol or by registered mail to the address Reisa Džemaludina Čauševića 1”, said Minister Šabić. The results will be published in the Official Gazette of the Sarajevo Canton and on the web page of the Ministry -  http://mp.ks.gov.ba/ .

The students thanked the Minister for the detailed information and support which was provided by his Ministry during this year, because the realisation of this call will help start-up small businesses. “This opportunity provided by the Ministry of Economy is especially important to the young people that are trying to start a business for the first time” said student Vehabović, he also said that he will invite his friends and colleagues to apply and to actively engage in the realisation of this call. Minister Šabić, called on all the ambitious future users of the grant, especially young people, to apply and in that way to solve their unemloyment issue and help develop our society as a whole.
