The Collegium of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly has decided today that the 31st session of the Assembly will be held on Wednesday, July 5th this year, beginning at 10:00. As announced unanimously by all members of the Collegium, at this session will be considered the Proposal of the Traffic Planning Law in the Sarajevo Canton area, Proposal of Decision on Granting the Sarajevo Canton Government authorization to consent to the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton Public bid for motor vehicles registered in the Register of Funds of mentioned Ministry or Management Board, Proposal of Decision on approval for conclusion of contract for sale of business premises for the needs of the Public Institution "Sarajevo Canton Employment Service" Sarajevo - Employment Bureau Novi Grad, which is located in Branislav Nusic Street 170, Dobrinja V, total area 383.73 m² for purchase price of 547.740 KM with VAT included, by the Cantonal Housing Fund Sarajevo, Proposal of Decision on Amendments to the Decision on Harmonization of Cantonal Public Status A utility company for burial and management of the burial ground "Pokop" with the Law on Public Companies in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Proposal of Decision on Confirmation of the Appointment of a Member of the Cantonal Public Enterprise for Management of State Forests of "Sarajevo Forest" d.o.o. Sarajevo.
The Representatives will also discuss at this session the reports on the work and financial operations of 12 public institutions in the field of culture, 13 health institutions and seven institutions in the field of social protection for 2016. The reports (for 2016) on the work of Cantonal Administration for Inspection Activities of the Sarajevo Canton, Cantonal Housing Fund Sarajevo, Institute for Informatics and Statistics of the Sarajevo Canton, and JP "Television of the Sarajevo Canton"will also be discussed. The Report on the State of Crime, Public Order and Peace and Traffic Safety in the Canton of Sarajevo for the Period January-March 2017 and Information on the Stage of Implementation of the Assembly Conclusions for which the Government of the Sarajevo Canton is responsible is to be found on the agenda too.
At today's session, it was also agreed that the 32nd working session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly will be held in the last week of the next month, and 26 July this year was proposed. As announced, at this session, members of the Assembly will, among other things, consider the additionally harmonized Proposal of the Law on Higher Education, as well as the amendments to the Sarajevo Cantonal Constitution, as public debate will be completed in the meantime and will have enough time for a good sublimation of its results.
