During the continuation of the 30th seating of the Assembly, the representatives accepted the information of the Ministry of Traffic of the Sarajevo Canton on acquiring conditions for the implementation of interim measures for the recovery of the public enterprise KJKP “Gradski saobraćaj” d.o.o. Sarajevo. With these measures, the entire management of the enterprise will be excluded from work and substituted by the temporary administrator. The Conclusion which requires the Government of the Sarajevo Canton to name the new temporary administrator on the proposal of the Ministry of Traffic of the Sarajevo Canton has been accepted. The deadline for the naming is 7 days from the day of the adoption of the Conclusion. The new temporary administrator will have an obligation to deliver a program of measures for the recovery of the public enterprise KJKP “Gradski saobraćaj” for consideration and adoption to the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton. He will be working together with the competent ministry and the deadline for the completion of this program is 30 days.
The representatives also adopted the work programs and financial plans for the 2017 for the following social protection institutions of the Sarajevo Canton: “Cantonal Center for Social Work”, Home for Children without custody”, “Home for Social Care and Health Care for people with disabilities and other persons”, “Gerontology Centre”, “Therapeutic Community – Sarajevo Canton Campus”, “Family Counseling” and “Disciplinary Center for Minors”.
The Assembly adopted a Decision on giving consent on the establishment of a new school “Maarif college” Sarajevo which will be placed in the street Banjalučka bb. The request for the establishment of the new school was submitted by the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo. The high school “Maarif college” along with the kindergarten “Kid IUS”, with the first private elementary school “Isa-beg Ishaković” and the International University in Sarajevo (IUS) will be a part of a unit which will be involved in upringing and education of children, pupils and students with the goal of achieving world and european standards in the field of education. This will be a gymnasium type high school which will incorporate classic gymnasium and expert education in the field of information and communication technologies and design. The focus will be on the practical implementation of knowledge and on the development of expert competencies which will be enabled by the use of the Cambridge Program.
They also adopted the Decision on giving consent for the transfer of rights and obligations from the Concession Contract 02-05- 23581/15 from 27.08.2015, for the exploitation of limestone and limestone dolomite at the “Puhovik” bank, Municipality Ilidža, from the company “NEXE” d.o.o. Sarajevo to the company “AMINA TRADE” d.o.o. Sarajevo. The work report and financial report of “the Canton Sarajevo Fund for Construction and Preservation of Cemeteries of Shaheed and Killed Fighters, Memorial Centers and Memorial Sites for the Victims of Genocide for the period of 01.01. -31.12.2016 was adopted along with the Report on the Repletion of the Sarajevo Canton with Medication and Sanitary Materials in the Year 2016.
