Minister of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton, Muharem Šabić signed an Agreement on cofinancing projects in the industrial zone “Mrđanović polje” and in the new industrial zone “PDI Bjelašnica” with the Mayor of Hadžići Municipality Hamdo Ejubović. For this purpose Ministry of economy will give 410,000 BAM.
“Ministry of Economy is trying to fix the business environment in the Sarajevo Canton and to help municipalities to do everything in the right way in order to enable investment in the new business zones to new companies”, said Minister Šabić. He also said that he hopes that, with the incentives from the competent Ministry, even more small and medium enterprises will be established in order to solve the unemployment issue in the Sarajevo Canton.
Hadžići Municipality plans to spend the funds from the competent Ministry on infrastructure in the industrial zone “Mrđanović Polje” and on uncluttering old objects in the new zone “PDI Bjelašnica”.
“After we unclutter this new industrial zone, we will get an attractive area for investment, with the surface of 10 hectares, and it is our mutual interest to bring quality investors in the Municipality”, said Mayor Ejubović.
He said that the zone “PDI Bjelašnica” is currently the best investment location and that the location is equipped with infrastructure and is placed near water, sewer and electricity.
“They has been earlier investments in the industrial zone ‘Mrđanović polje” where companies Argeta, Saplast, Agrikom, Begex and others are placed. I hope that, after finishing the construction of the road that will connect the zone with the highway M 17 it will attract other companies as well”, explained Mayor Ejubović.
After the signing, Minister Šabić and Mayor Ejubović went to visit the investment locations.
